We live in a culture that often teaches us to override the body’s signals, disconnect from natural rhythms and look outside ourselves for answers.
In this conversation, clinical herbalist Laura Baum joins me to explore what becomes possible when we begin listening again.
Together, we discuss chronic illness, stress, hormone health, autoimmune conditions, herbal medicine and the ways modern life often pulls us away from the very things that support our wellbeing. Laura shares her perspective on body literacy, the importance of understanding our individual patterns and the role community, rhythm and daily practices play in creating long-term health.
We also explore the connection between lifestyle, genetics and the choices that influence how we feel physically, emotionally and mentally. Throughout the conversation, Laura reminds us that health is not simply about managing symptoms. It is about developing a relationship with the body, understanding the environments we live in and reclaiming our connection to the natural world.
This conversation is ultimately about sovereignty.
It is about learning to trust the body’s intelligence, becoming more conscious of the forces shaping our wellbeing and remembering that we are intrinsically connected to nature.
Whether you are navigating hormone changes, chronic symptoms, burnout or simply seeking a more holistic approach to wellness, this episode offers practical wisdom and a refreshing perspective on what it means to support health from the inside out.
